If you do a search on google for "polyamory" you'll get a wealth of information, some good and some rather bizarre. It was a total giggle to see the view of some mormons Apparently you are only allowed to love your "sister wife" as a sister, and not get any physical pleasure at all from the relationship between you. All the physical pleasure belongs to the man only and anything else is sinful. Hallelujah! LOL!

What I'm curious about, is has anyone else ever, even once, come across a poly relationship that has been enduring? I was looking at this for a while as a possible solution in my own case, but came up not only against my own negative issues (ie, I'd resent the hell out of my husband because he already has a wife and I dont') but also the fact that I couldn't find one single example of a poly relationship that had endured over any significant time period.

Love to hear contrasting or conflicting views

`I am in a polyamorous marriage of 22 years. I know other 20+ years married poly folks, and more 10+ years married. I have been bi and poly all my dating life. I agree longlasting poly triads, quads, and families are harder to find. We are in more of a network situation, but have some longtime loves.

`My fiance was in a poly relationship for a few years and he loves the lifestyle. It's very open and warm. There's always someone there for you. We are looking to be in one if we find the right person. I think it's a 'complete' relationship. To me, that's something I know with the right two people would be enriching in my life.
