ME:
I am a strong, independent woman, with a big heart and a very soft, sensitive side.

I don’t want to be put in a category, but simply want to explore a relationship with some depth without the traditional, conservative pressures of heterosexuality, marriage and conceiving. Not to say if the right person were to come along this wouldn't change, but for now, let's keep it simple and explore together. If this too is what you seek, read on.

I moved to Chicago 2 years ago, live in the city and love to explore all it has to offer. With work, my weekdays are pretty busy. My passion is theater. I read plays on my commute and try to see a play each weekend. I enjoy museums and art in most mediums, including the opera and symphony performances although I prefer casual venues, like the park.

For the uncultured side of me: while I can be serious when the situation calls, I try to find humor in most situations. Guilty pleasures include "The Office", most Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller stuff (favs are “Land of the Lost” and "Tropic Thunder"), and yes, even "South Park".

If you are still reading, you should know I like to eat well and exercise to feel healthy and reduce stress. I am not looking for body perfection in my partner and neither should they for me.

I like spontaneous day trips. I like to check out new restaurants. I am not a traditionally domestic woman, but enjoy the comforts of an orderly home. I like coffee and chocolate. I like to travel and explore at home and abroad. I enjoy hiking, but I am not the back-packing, camping sort of person. I enjoy meaningful discussions, not political debates.
