Scared to approach some sitations

I don't know what I'm looking for exactly. I'm just kind of coming to terms with my bisexuality after joking about it, mentioning it in passing. Or trying to forget other girls I know I've been attracted to.
I've had boyfriends, only.
Never felt like I can tell if a girl is into me, except once and I swear the feeling was mutual and powerful. Overwhelming so, that's when I first knew I wasn't exclusively straight and the feeling has lasted.
I do feel like being open about it will leave judgement for some people I know. Like is this a phase? Is this for attention? Is it to be cool?
It's none of those things and I have a need to talk about it and explore it and I don't know where to start. I just want to be myself I guess and it's part of who I am.
